Jamaica Destination Wedding Planner
Say “I Do” on island time.
So you’re planning a destination wedding?
Caribbean destination weddings are becoming increasingly popular and it’s no surprise that Jamaica is home to nearly 700 miles of pristine white-sandy beaches, lush tropical scenery, and a mix of resort-style luxury and laid-back Caribbean charm.
For couples who desire a tropical destination wedding, there’s no better place than Jamaica (and I promise I’m not just saying that because I was born and raised on the island) Jamaica is home to the most beloved Caribbean wedding destinations, namely Montego Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios and Portland.

Montego Bay or ‘MoBay’ as we the locals call it, is ideal for couples who want a balance of luxury, convenience, and that rich Jamaican culture. It’s home to Jamaica’s Top All-Inclusive and Adults-only resorts including Sandals, Half Moon and Jewel Grande, just to name a few. Montego Bay is home to Sangster International Airport (MBJ) named after our former Prime Minister Sir Donald Sangster and known for its status as the Caribbean’s leading airport. Choosing Montego Bay, Jamaica as your Caribbean wedding destination means peace of mind, ease and convenience. Sangster is incredibly accessible for guests to travel to and from your preferred destination wedding venue or location in Montego Bay.

Negril; another famous resort town that spans two parishes in Jamaica - Westmoreland and Hanover. Negril, also known as ‘Casual Capital’ or ‘Capital of Casual’ is popularly known for its relaxed, and romantic energy. Our famous 7-Mile Beach, and dramatic cliffside landscapes make it the perfect destination for couples who want a romantic, serene wedding backdrop or Caribbean micro wedding or elopement.
Ocho Rios is a lush and adventurous resort town, full of natural attractions like waterfalls, rivers, and botanical gardens. Ocho Rios is home to popular tourist attractions, namely the world's famous Dunn’s River Falls, a terraced, 180m mountain waterfall with lagoon pools, surrounded by trees and tropical foliage. Another popular attraction is our Mystic Mountain, known for zip lining and mountain top adventures.
Trident Castle
This one, for me, tops the list (and it may be because I hail from the Parish.) Jamaica as a whole is a breathtakingly beautiful island, but ask anyone who is from Jamaica what the best parish is and they will most likely say Portland. This northeastern parish is the cradle of tourism and destination weddings in Jamaica. It was the primary destination for early visitors long before Montego Bay and Negril developed later. Known for its lush greenery, majestic Blue Mountains, and clear beaches, Portland creates the perfect serene backdrop for couples looking to tie the knot in their own little slice of paradise.
Two of the top venues in Portland are Trident Castle and Frenchman’s Cove.
With a range of destinations to choose from, Jamaica remains one of the most desired places in the Caribbean to host destination weddings and events. Experience a rich, vibrant culture, tasty foods and warm Caribbean hospitality.
